Sarah Knochel

I have over 15 years of experience in both wedding and dress alterations and love being the owner of Something Wonderful! Creating a fun environment for women to feel beautiful is what I’m most passionate about, and I really love helping to put together the whole bridal look! Styling the details like the veil and jewelry are also some of my favorite parts.

In my spare time you might find me eating pizza and binging Real Housewives or True Crime.

I have been working in alterations for 38 years! I love getting the opportunity to enhance all the wonderful garments that people bring into our shop, as well as the camaraderie of working with Sarah and the rest of the team.

My favorite food and guilty pleasure is ice cream!

I have been working in alterations for 2 years. I love getting a chance to work on some of the beautiful gowns brought into the shop, and I’m extremely grateful for all of the amazing brides I’ve had a chance to connect with and the things I’ve learned so far working at Something Wonderful.

My guilty pleasures definitely involves wine and anything seafood.

I have been doing alterations for two years now. I love learning new tips and tricks from all of the other amazing staff here!

When I’m not in the shop you might find me watching Big Brother or eating my favorite food, pancakes.

I have been in the alterations business for 2 years. I love what I call “hibernation days” where I can focus on extended hand sewing, it’s something I really love!

In my spare time you will catch me watching X-Files for the thirteenth time, or eating anything with pesto that I can get my hands on.

In the past 6 months of working at Something Wonderful I’ve loved the opportunity to learn something new every day!

When I am not sewing you might find me blasting jazz music way too loud in my car, or enjoying pasta carbonara.
